Board of Directors
A volunteer Board of Directors manages E FRY’s affairs and policies, each a representative of a cross-section of the community. Volunteers are integral to E FRY, providing our clients with many hours of direct and indirect service.
Anita Bhatia • President and Interim Treasurer
Anita Bhatia has been with CIBC since 1989 and works in Governance & Controls in Commercial Banking. She is a Chartered Accountant from India. She has been a Board member since 2018. Anita has always felt strongly about treating those in the justice system with understanding and compassion and providing them with opportunities for rehabilitation in society.
Dr. Goldi Gill • Vice President
Dr. Goldi Gill has been named Executive Director for Campus Wellness at Waterloo University. Goldi’s most recent position, since 2018, has been Executive Director at a pan-national not-for-profit organization, The Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society. Goldi is also a part-time Professor at Fanshawe and Canadore College, teaching Business Processes and Human Resource Management courses.
Outside of work, Goldi mentors young Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour students from various Ontario high schools and colleges, contributing to educational inclusion and empowerment. Goldi holds a Bachelor of Communications from Royal Roads, a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University, and a PhD in Business Psychology from the Chicago School of Psychology.
Megan Bailey • Board Member
Megan Bailey is currently completing a PhD in Ethics and Public Affairs, of which her research focuses on health justice and equity-related issues facing incarcerated individuals in Canada. Megan has professional experience grounded in acute care settings with formal clinical ethics training.
Megan is passionate about prison reform and harm reduction measures to support individuals within the community through equitable policy and program development. Megan Bailey has a Master’s in Health Policy and Equity.
